Though you might think her name is Pat, it’s actually Melody who runs the show. She took over the nursery when she was just 26 and has made it a beloved part of the community ever since.
A Little History
Pat's Plants wasn't always Melody's. It started with Pat and Eddie, who came from Alabama after a business setback and decided to put down new roots. They chose this spot and built a nursery from the ground up. When they were ready to retire, they knew Melody was the right person to take over. She was already a plant lover, thanks to a childhood incident that turned her away from roofing and towards the beauty of greenhouses.
Melody often shares that it wasn't just her efforts that transformed this place; she firmly believes that her faith played a pivotal role. “Her and God bought the business,” she says with a smile, acknowledging her spiritual journey in entrepreneurship.

Melody has a way of making everyone feel at home.
